Previous Exhibition

I held a one week solo exhibition at the Carre Gallery, Sleaford in May 2010. The first evening I held an exclusive preview event with guests including the Mayor & Mayoress of Sleaford, Councillor Gordon and Mrs Kathy Blythe.

I showed 36 pieces of work, mainly wall art, with sizes ranging from small 6x8 inch framed work, right up to the large 5x3 ft unframed piece, based on a pond. It was a collection of work showing some of the range of possibilities when using fabrics and threads.

Over 130 people visited over the course of the week and as I was there for the whole week as Artist in Residence, I was able to meet everyone who came and demonstrated various techniques that I used. Some of them were kind enough to leave comments and here is a small selection.

“Really enjoyed viewing the exhibition – it is so good to have work of this quality on display in Sleaford.” Wendy

“Most unexpected! I came with my wife under duress but wow, its great” Anonymous

“Thank-you so much for the tutorial, look forward to learning more.” Cathy

“Super exhibition, very different to the run of the mill” Anonymous
